Do you remember my blog post on Feb 10th about the dismembered body being found in garbage bags along two local interstates? Today's front page of the local newspaper is titled "Did He Cut Her Up?" An arrest has been made and we may be able to sleep just a little easier tonight knowing someone who is capable of such a horrific crime is locked up. And as expected, he is proclaiming his innocence, so it will be interesting to see how he explains her hands being found in the pipes of the house he was renting/living in.
I've always been fascinated in reading about true crime (it all started with a criminal justice class I took in college on serial killers.... well, not completely true, after all I did grow up as the daughter of a cop! LOL) so this is definitely one case I will be following closely. It's looking promising that this will not be classified as just another unsolved murder.
If you'd like to read the newspaper articles, follow this link.
Until next time.....

Gotta love serial killers - sometimes their reasoning & answers are all over the place.
Just like the chap who killed 3 young women where I live. He hated women, but yet applied to our state to get them to let him have a sex change (you can guess how quickly that was thrown out of court).
I think what keeps us all so fascinated with true crime is that sometimes they look like us & could be the boring neighbour next door yet are capable of crimes that are so violent we wouldn't even dream about.
